This ocarina is our WindWing design. It is tuned to the Pentatonic scale, similar to a Native American Style Flute. The difference with an ocarina is to half cover a hole to obtain the in-between notes of the scale. This ocarina is made of fine Lyptus hardwood on the top and bottom of the ocarina and an African Teak (Iroko) hardwood center. It has 8-holes (6 finger & 2 thumb), tuned in the Key of Em. Its playing range is Em4 to G#(Ab)m5. Comes with a fine leather necklace.
